Vocabulary by Themes

Learning has to be purposeful, meaningful and enjoyable. Hence here at Get It Right, Teacher Libing believes in thematic vocabulary activities. Our PSLE students this year took some time to work on crossword puzzles organised according to topics and themes. In this example, we focused on measurement. The roots 'equ', 'magn' and 'min' helped students to make links between Mathematics and English. Vocabulary power is essential for excellence in other subjects too. (Teacher Augustine will be glad to hear this as he teaches Math and Science.)
