Creative Writing Workshops for Lower Primary

My greatest gratitude goes to 2 senior teachers who have had so much faith in our teaching here at Get It Right. I had finished most of the holiday courses, but their requests came in and by a stroke of luck, the schedules matched! So their children paired up for 2 sessions on Creative Writing, just before we usher in 2021.

The first theme was talent and our product was a DIY story book. The students focused on plot structure, making sure they covered introduction, body and conclusion. For oral communication, we also did a mini presentation of the stories.

The next workshop provided a foundation for figurative language. The students worked on a reading passage about the theme of family. Next we talked about our impression of some common colours, making associations with our family members and friends.
